Last night my iPod froze for the 1st time ever. It is the model and I just changed the battery last Friday. I got it unfrozen but should I worry it is about to die of is this probably just a freak incident?

Don't worry.

btw, you managed to *not* mention which model it is...

Though the switching the battery thing seems to indicate original series.

I have a 10Gb 2nd gen model, and it freezes 3-4 times an hour when I'm running. My wife's 3rd gen model will occasionally do the same thing.

Annoying, but not a big deal.

Hold menu and play for a few seconds and it will reset itself.
