I am looking at buying one of these, but according to Canon there are no drivers yet. Are there drivers built into 10.3 that will work? Anybody using one of these via a work around of some sort. Any help would be much appreciated. Apple sells it on their site, so it must work just fine, right?

Canon has in my experience the best OS X support of all inkjet manufacturers, but I would wait to buy it till the drivers are released. The site says, the drivers are due in June-July, so I think you don't have to wait too long.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I think that what the Canon site means is that no drivers are available that are newer than those in the box. The listing of the box contents indicates that drivers for Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 and Windows are on the included CD.

Why not call or email Canon and find out?

Yup, I have this printer hooked up via firewire to my G5 running 10.3.4, it is a great printer and extremely fast. The drivers on the website are the exact same version as those on the CD in the box.
