I have just swithced from PC to Mac (new PB). In your archives I found at www.macnightowl.com/news/.../week3.htm information that DJ1220C will definitely work for the DeskJet 600 as well as many other old ones (News 200 title HP's Confusing Printer Driver Update). So far only my computer recognizes the printer but the driver fails to load/show up in the Printer Setup Utility.

Would very much appreciate some help (how to make this work as claimed, a different driver, where to find one).

PS: could HP have in the meantime modified the driver NOT to work w/older models??
