Just got a copy of Halo and the Eliminator gamepad. When pluuged into the USB port and go into the Controller settings the Gamepad is not seen only the keyboard. Does anyone know how to get this gamepad to work. I have installed the software that comes with the gamepad but this opens OS9 and installs something there. Doesn't effect the gamepad. Tried using USB Overdrive and Gamepad Companion but none of these get it to work in HALO.

Really want to play this game with a gamepad.

Are gamepads automatically seen by OS X?

Any help would be appreciated, want to test how good my new notebook is with this game.

Mac OS X does support USB gamepads automatically, but only if the game is programmed to use them. Unfortunately, the Mac version of Halo does not support gamepads.
