My wife bought a nice 'touristy' 2 button + scroll mouse. It's a made in china generic-looking logo-embossed 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel. Decent enough construction, USB connected, it nevertheless must need some driver I don't have. It functions otherwise as a single button mouse - the 2nd button & wheel are dead.

No clear origin of manufacture, other than a 'cefc' looking logo and the fact that it's made in China. I've googled and done a search at versiontracker on tha† as well as 'generic scroll mouse driver' to no avail.

Do you guys have suggestions as to where I might download a driver that'll enable the 2nd button and the scroll wheel to function? Thanks!

Should've noted that the desired OS is 9.1. The mouse works fine on my OS 10.2.X machine. Also, the 2nd button and the wheel aren't dead. They mimic the single 1st button. No scrolling, no contextual menus.

If you can't think of anything, tell me a nice mouse story instead. Or post some nice smiley, I dunno. Spew some obscenities. It's the led balloon threads that kill my MacNN esteem
