Hi
i have an old 2k iMac DV, with VGA video out (hidden behind a door at the bottom of the iMac), so i thought i could try to use a LCD monitor, say a 17", with VGA interface.
I'm not really sure if this is possible, but i'd like somme feed-back on this, as well as on some models, brands, prices.
Thank you
Victor

Should be possible. I think you can just mirror the display on those old iMacs, so you're not going to be doubling your screen real estate or anything, but you should be able to use an LCD monitor so long as it has a VGA connection.

Thanks -Q-
Will I need some kind of LCD/iMac adapter?
I ask because cheap LCD monitors are all PC's . And i have no intention to buy an Apple Cinema Display for my XX century iMac...

lcd's have nothing to do with mac or pc. There are two types, dvi (digital) and vga (analogue). You just need to find any vga lcd. vga is less expensive, so you should be able to find lots of screens for less than $400.
