Played around with Garageband yesterday on the laptop, and it's fun. but it's pretty hard to play with the trackpad and button.

I have a Yamaha keyboard and was wondering if there are any cables that go Headphones/Aux Out-> USB or Firewire.

your cheapest bet is probably Griffin iMic.

its quality is supposedly pretty good.

how does the iMic work? looks like it's just a hub with a USB cable at the end. i would need a headphone->headphone cable then

I believe the iMic is the cheapest USB audio interface. And, yes, you would need a cable to go from a headphone out jack to the iMic in jack. I don't believe anyone makes a USB or firewire audio interface that will plug directly into a headphone jack.

do you know where i can find Headphone out to iMic in jack?

Maybe I should just invest in those keyboards at the Apple Store
