Hi

I bought several months ago a wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 for my mac and I like it (even if I find it to heavy sometimes).

It has 5 buttons (2 on top, the wheel and 2 on the side). I can't get the thumb buttons to work correctly with Safari. Those buttons should either load the previous page or the next one ... but it does not. Instead it loads another website. I don't know why.

Those thumb buttons work correctly with Netscape or Explorer i.e.

I use the MS 5.1 drivers ...

Any advice on how I could avoid this problem ? Thank you

Not sure why this is so... I've got the same mouse at work and the back/forward buttons work just fine in Safari.

Make sure the button settings in your driver control pref pane are set properly (command-left arrow for back, command-right arrow for forward).

Yes strange indeed because my father has the same problem with his mouse (it is not a wireless one).

Cadaver, what is the version of your MS driver ?
