how do i slap notes onto my ipod? i mean .. sometimes it doesnt come out at all (using microsoft office v.x (word)) and when it does .. i get alot of crap at the top with info on font, then a lot of \ marks after every sentence ... any idea how to get it to come out ok? not to mention how it doesnt come out at all sometimes...

The files have to be plain text, not Word docs, not rich text, not HTML, not PDF, etc.

go to the apple support website and search ipod scripts, they have a free download with instructions on how to use them and one of the free scripts is the "copy whatever I highlight into notes on the ipod" yep. simple. and if it is too long, it automatically divides the text into multiple notes on the ipod.

hrmm .. will do .. also .. plain text .. what on a powerbook g4 is plain text? thanks again =P

You can use TextEdit. Go to the format menu and select "Make Plain Text", then save it and transfer it to your iPod.

Plain text is a file format. It has nothing to do with your PowerBook G4.

i meant using what program?

also i searched and i couldnt find the program thing or script .. you sure it's in support?

Just about any word processing program can output to plain text. Like I said, it's a format, not an app.
