hey nice mac peoples.

this week my iPod went nuts. I restored it several times, but always get a (!) and a folder when I start it. Then, it finally loads normal, but when i select a song, it reboots itself. It won't play anything. Endless cycle.

any ideas on how to get my baby back?

I don't want to invest in a new one until I get get a phon ein my iPod. Am I ipod-less?

weird:
i held down all the buttons while resetting it, and got in some wierd diagnostic mode or something. "reset" was one of the options, and when i picked it, the thing restarted and works now.
