I am giving a 3g ipod to a windows using friend. I was wondering (it has just occured to me doh!), will it work with a PC? It is not FAT32 formatted obviously.
Is there anything I should do first? or what dies he need to do? Will it just work when he plugs it into the USB2 port?

(PS Its okay I'm getting a new iPod...I'm not anti-pod or anthing )

Your friend just needs the Windows version of the iPod firmware app - plug it in, reformat and away!
