HP DeskJet 5550 not responding! Help!

	Hi people-- Just trying to get a Deskjet 5550 set up over here. I'm running 10.3.5 and have tried using the old drivers on CD as well as the latest from HP's website. The Printer Setup Utility 'sees' the 5550 and has since I plugged it in, but whenever I try to do anything like print a test/diagnostic page or check ink levels it gives me an error. Sometimes it tells me the printer is out of ink, but when I force a test page manually from the printer itself, it prints fine, so I don't think this is the case. This is frustrating.. HELP!!! Thanks..
