Please watch out for A&M, Digital Liquidation, etc. when using Froogle or the other comparison shopping sites. These sites tend to scam customers. Make sure to do a little research on the company before buying something off of a random web store. [url=http://photo.net[/url]Photo.net has a lot of info about swindlers and the like.

Any modern camera should work fine with OSX, all it does is allow the memory to mount like a disk. You could always get a media reader, which is a good idea anyhow, should this not work for some reason.

It all depends on what price range you are in, but personally I'd rather spend a little more to know that I can get it repaired, replaced, exchanged easier at some point down the road. YMMV.

and yes, most cameras tend to work very well with OS X - (drivers are usually already built in, and iPhoto integration is usually seamless).
