Someone in my family is getting a Tungsten C - what I would like to know, is how difficult it is going to be to utilise our Airport network with it?

Further details:
• Network unencrypted
• What do people use for real web browsing, and instant messenging on these things?

Thanks for your help

You shouldn't have any problems using a TC with an AirPort base station.

With regards to web browsers, I recommend that you buy and install Web Browser Pro 3.0 (or its latest iteration) onto your TC.

Althoug it's not the Palm Tungsten, I use a Sony Clie UX-50 at home and work. On my AirPort Extreme home network I use WEP and have no trouble connecting to the network. I had to enter my WEP password in Hex form, but other than that I get my email and browse the web easily. Syncing AvantGo is fast and simple.

Thanks for the Airport info everyone. Does anyone know how to use instant messaging (specifically msn) with said wireless network?
