Airport Extreme PPPoE locking up

I've got an Airport Extreme hooked into a Alcatel Speedtouch home, it's set to reconnect on disconnect but when the line drops ( i'm not sure if's it's the ISP/ADSL Modem or Airport ) the airport won't reconnect. I have to reboot the airport to get it to connect. Any Ideas?
