What will happen to my I pod If I delete a playlist in Itunes?

What about if delete a song?

Is everything backed up on the pod? Will my I pod surrive?

if itunes is set to automatically sync your ipod then any changes made to itunes will be made to the ipod.

there are options in itunes, to change how you want your ipod synced.
