I have a new 20 inch cinema as well as an older 17 inch cinema hooked up through a geforce4 ti on my 933 G4. The monitors look great and are working really well except for one problem. I have the 20 setup as my main screen and the 17 is off to the side. When I play something full screen with fast action on the 17 I get a line of horizontal tearing on the bottom portion of the 17. Any ideas?

Are your video setting for each monitor set to their native resolutions?

I presume you're running one straight from ADC port and one thru a DVI>ADC converter. I have a similar setup, DP2G5,15" ASD-LCD, 23" ACD on an OEM ATi 9800.
Had some problems with a 22", but they went away when I replaced it with a 23". Try changing the port arrangement, that helped my earlier problem with the 22", ie. switch which one goes thru the converter.

actually I have a new 20inch, so it is running straight off the DVI, and the older 17 is running straight directly off the ADC port.

weeezer, you may have bad ram in the video card. this problem would not have shown up until adding a 2nd monitor.

if you have a friend you can borrow a video card from then do so. if not run any diagnostics for your video card (user the card's manufacturers test app).

??

I kinda was assuming that your nvidia card came with some utilities one of which might be a testing app.

how about the apple diagnostic app. might not test the vram but its worth a shot.
