Does anyone have any experience setting up a HP CLJ 4550 with Panther? I am running a simple setup where I am printing to the HP from my Ti which is connected via an ABS. I have the extra paper feeder (Tray 3) on the bottom of the printer.

When I go to print, my print command on my PB "sees" that I have the extra tray no problem. However, the problem is that every single time I send a job to the printer (usually to Tray 2 or 3), the printer will do one of two things. Either: (a) [if I have paper in the #1 slot] It automatically prints to Tray 1 REGARDLESS of what tray I tell it to print from; or (b) [if I don't have paper in the #1 slot] It flashes the orange attention light and says "TRAY 1 LOAD PLAIN LETTER". I then have to either load the correct type of paper into the #1 slot, or manually tell it to take the paper from Tray #2 or #3 using the buttons on the printer.

This is really frustrating. The whole point of having 3 trays was that it was supposed to save me from having to manually load the type of paper that I want to use for each print job. I've tried manually changing the parameters directly on the printer itself, but nothing seems to work. Oddly, I really do believe that it was working perfectly the very first time I plugged it in, but now it just keeps printing from Tray 1. Can anyone help me out???

Thanks, T.
