My Ipod has pretty much stopped working. I hit play and it just keeps going through the songs all the way until the end and if I try to stop it, the thing just freezes up some how. I just put it into the dock to connect it to my computer and the "Do not Disconnect" thing is still up. What the hell... I've had my Ipod for less than 5 months and it's breaking on me? Anyone heard of this or have any way to help?

That sounds badly hosed.

If the current problem is that it's stuck in the dock and won't show the okay to disconnect button, try tuning your computer off.

If it still says "do not disconnect" it's probably okay to disconnect (I say probably, do this at your own risk).

Anyways, it's still under warrantee, right?

Oh yeah, go to Apple's iPod support page. Under iPod basics it will instruct you how to reset your iPod. That could work too.

Try a hard reset as mentioned in the post above, could help.

From Apple site :

To reset iPod, iPod (Scroll Wheel), and iPod (Touch Wheel)

Connect iPod to the Apple iPod Power Adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your Mac's built-in FireWire port. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

stuffing feathers up your b*tt doesn't make you a chicken.
