My son just got a RCA LYRA for a gift. Does anyone know if I can connect it with my g4 powerbook computer. I currently have itunes on my computer and use it with my ipod. I'd like to take my sons songs and transfer them onto his mp3 player. The box does say that it's compatible with a MAC but the manuals do not make any reference to the MAC or itunes. It just mentions Music Match Jukebox.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

There used to be a compatibility list on the iTunes site at www.apple.com/itunes ,

but it appears to have evaporated into the confusing advertising mess that is now the iTunes+iPod tab.

Edit: Found it via the iTunes support link

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93548

The RCA does not appear to be on the list.

P.S.: It's "Mac". "MAC" is a network communications device address, and a bunch of other acronyms. "Mac" is not an acronym, it's just short for "Macintosh" (a type of Apple).

It probably won't sync up with iTunes the way an iPod does, but if you plug it in you should see an icon of it on the desktop. You can probably drag songs out of iTunes right onto the player.

Thanks to you both for your help. The drag and drop method worked very easily.

My son will be thrilled.
