The reason I love the Mini iPods, is the not the size as much as the color.

If the regular iPod's had color I wouldn't even consider a mini most likely. the size is nice sometimes, but the Ipod's aren't that big.

I thinkt that's why apple hasn't done it yet. But man o man I wish IPod, Ibooks, Imacs, and any other products with an i in it, would use the same colors that apple used with the minis.

they are just great colors and it would look so cool on a computer. I'm sick of white all around. give us color. I just don't get it.

I'm sure it has to do with cost and making everything look the same on the consumer side. Fine, make all the consumer stuff have pretty colors.

They will sell even better.

How about some more info about that. Are you saying, you can stick paper to your ipod?

Doesn't answer your question, but I was messing around in photoshop trying to colorize an iPod and ended up with this. Not really what I would expect Apple to do, but it's a cool effect nonetheless (especially the orange/red one)

Color iPods (1000x352 so I won't post it inline)

Edit: I wonder if anyone will get one of those HP tattoos and scan it and make a photshop template so people can make their own. That'd be pretty cool.

Nice lineup ! They should do something like that. I don't think it would affect Mini sales, cause there are plenty other differences between them. Nice work Max!

My favorite is the black one at the very bottom, very cool. If I didn't already have a 40 gig 3rd gen I would definatly get one.

Man, colored iPods are nice. I'd like a nice silver one to go with my powerbook. Now only if I could paint a iPod dock silver.
