Half of my friends are telling me the new ipods (4th gen?) with the click wheel wont last as long as the 3g with the touch wheel?? Shouldd i spend the extra $50 and get the 4g at the apple store or go to target and get the 3g for $250??

Also do the 4g work with the same car charger as the 3gens did?

Get the 4G. Don't them influence you.

You don't need te light up button at all with the new clickwheel. And also, my iPod mini is a lot easier to control than 3G ipods with the touch button. A mechanical button is much better.

4th gen. A friend of mine bought one, and he wanted the mini at first. But it wasn't available, so he took a 20 gig 4th gen. It was tempting, but other than the smaller form factor and the accessories (especially the card reader), it's not tempting enough to replace my 2nd gen 20 gig iPod.

But I like the new click wheel much better than the four buttons.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

i have a sony headunit with an aux port in the back, and i have a ipod holder for my cupholder so i got a sweet setup. My headunit has a cool little EQ screen. Ill have to take a pic and post it or something.
