After retrieving what information I could off of my recently purchased LaCie FA Porsche drive, I also got another Western Digital USB 2.0/FireWire Media Center to copy the saved info off of the LaCie I'm sending back to Amazon.
The WD is working brilliantly but I wondered how do I get the card reader to work or rather activate?
Since I use the firewire port on my computer (I don't have USB 2.0), I connected the USB cable from the drive to my Pismo after mounting it through firewire. I inserted the SD card into the media card reader, it won't mount. I even tried just mounting the disk with USB and the drive mounts, just not the media card reader. Any tips on how to activate it? TIA!
