I just bought an Epson Stylus C66 printer which, apparently, is just about the only printer still being made today that's not mac compatible. Why, you ask? I have no idea. I had a few choice words to say on the subject but at this point I'm tired of trying to expand my vocabulary.

Before I send this back, does anyone know of any third-party (unsupported) drivers that have been written for this device? I'm not looking forward to hassling with the returns department so I want to see if I can get this thing to work before I drag it back to the car. Any leads?

Umm, return it -- you'll be happier with a Canon anyway.

The cost to refill the damn thing once can buy you a new canon that in my experience has never once clogged in over 400 8x10 photo prints.

Thanks, that made it work flawlessly. Or at least made it work.

And yes, I know the Epson gouges you on the print cartridges, but they're pretty much the only brand carried by my university store. I'll return it if it turns out to be really bad.
