512MB CF Card not show full capacity

	Hi everyone. I have a 512MB Sandisk CF card I use with my Canon PowerShot G5. The problem is in the camera it only shows a capacity of 480MB. I don't have a card reader so I can't check whether this is the same when connected to my PB. Is the missing space used up by the fiel system? I also have a 32MB card which came with the G5 and it shows a full 32MB capacity. Is the new card duff, or is this normal. I have checked with Canon and apparently the camera can take any CF card or Microdrive up to 4GB so I am not too sure why it has problems with the 512MB card. Any ideas? Thanks. Nick.
