Anyone of you guys, feels that Johnatan Ive, the excellent industrial designer of Apple and maybe the best in the world in his area, has a "debt" with the computer evolution in terms of the design of the "mouse"?. The iMac, the PowerBook, also de iPod had been great designs and cultural icons, but what's happened with the mouse, the center of the experience and concept of the very personal computer?

I understand the idea of the one button mouse in terms of the simplicity and easy of use, but I believe it's possible to go ahead, not by only "adding" buttons and wheels, but by creating a new hole experience.

What do you think?

i may be completely wrong here. but i do not see apple changing their mouse. i hope they don't. mice are not expensive, if you don't like the one button by a new one, (i know this is not what you are discussing), and i think the simplicity behind the one button mouse is great.

i can't imagine what they could do with a mouse to create a new experience. i'd be all for it if they could do something revolutionary. but for now, i think they should stick with one button.
