I have been going crazy trying to figure out what has made my new G5 fall into deep sleep and not wake up (unless I press and hold the power button), when I finally figured out it's the combination of plugging in my HP photo printer into my USB card. The card is built by Macally and only causes problems when the printer is plugged in, not my USB soundsticks.

I have a Sonnet USB/Firewire card coming via Fedex and hope this solves it, but from what I have read on the various boards, this is a common problem with Mac.

Anyone have any advice? Anyone have any prior experience?

Thanks
