iPaq + Wireless = No Joy

Hi all.
Today I purchased a SanDisk WiFi card for my iPaq. I
installed the software for the card and started to follow
the directions, but at one point, in a help file, it told
me to click on the "wireless" tab in "connections."
I don't have a wireless tab.
The card is recognized by the iPaq and seems to be
continually scanning my network...seemingly avoiding
purposefully the channel it needs to find.
In my settings>connections>connections panel, I have no
option for wireless whatsoever.
Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Scott

I have. But I thought that since I'm a Mac user attempting to get an iPaq on an Airport wireless network, it might be OK to post the request here.

Well you should have known better!
But seriously I wish I could help - have you tried contacting Sandisk and HP directly?
Goodluck!

Yose.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

No kidding.

A visit to the HP support site reveals that my problem with this SD card is apparently quite common. I've soft-reset and hard-reset, I've wiped everything, blah blah.
No luck.

Actually, about an hour ago I *finally* got it to work. This was one of those typical windows fixes where you have no idea what you did or why it fixed the problem.

This definitely isn't the right place for Windows questions, but it's not even the right place for Mac WiFi questions: this forum is CLEARLY marked as NOT being the place for networking questions of any kind. We have a separate forum for those.
