I just got a Lacie d2 extreme with fw800. Super nice, but it seems to be incompatible with with my fw400 audio device while attempting to stream.

Example:
When playing music in iTunes from the Lacie, distortion is produced through the audio device (M-Audio FireWire410 interface). This does not happen when playing from the internal disk. The distortion is also absent when using the built-in audio device.

Has anyone had problems related to firewire audio and the fw800 drives? Any issues at all with anything using fw800?
