i contaced HP about this issue and they said to save the sign as a PDF. i did this and then upon opening the PDF to print i got the same results as from printing it strait from print shop.

any ideas? could this be the ink cartridge, printer, or software???

Any and all help is apprechiated, THANKS

One thing that can happen is that the paper, when it gets wet from the ink, buckles up and hits the ink cartridge. What paper are you using? 80gsm?

It is quite grubby inside a printer and I have seen this happen with solid areas of very intense colour on my older hp deskjet 959c

not sure what paper im using, its the regular size (not A4). I tried it with several sheets of paper, all dry. whnever i perform a cleaning or callibration it shows no sign of any leaking or such. This printer is brand new, probably the first time i am printing something with color in it beside the cleaning sheets it prints.

any other reconmendations, im still waiting for HP to get back to me.

If this printer gives you other problems also the best thing to do is go and get any Canon printer for the same cost of refilling your HP with new ink ONCE.

Canons have great software and hardware.

How about a better description of the marks (or, better yet, a URL to a digital photo or scan of the image flaw). I can't really begin to make a diagnosis without knowing the nature of the problem.

Sounds like the rollers could really use a cleaning (maybe you did a double sided sheet without letting it dry or something? *shrug*)

I have a 1315 myself -- damn they're fast.

HP 1350... you meant the All-in-One model? I bought one a month ago.. I didn't experience any problem.
