Greetings,

I was wondering if it was possible to use a Projector instead of an LCD [Cinema Display] as my monitor?

Would using a projector yield good resolution?

How about color representation?

Can projectors be used for Video and Music editing?

Thanks for any help!

Your going to spend a fortune on projector bulbs since most bulbs run at least $300, but more are more like $500. Also most projectors are relatively low resolution like 1024x768. You will also need a light controlled room if you expect to see your picture.

Not to mention projectors start at $1000 for 800 x 600 resolution. Higher resolutions put you easily over $1250. At that price, a 20" LCD can be had, with twice the resolution.
