I have a Siemens S55 cellphone. I use the organiser sometimes, but have experiences some problems with syncing to iCal. Sometimes the time was off by an hour. I have time on my Mac updated via the Apple timeserver, and can't find anything about summertime settings, but I suppose that's taken care of automatically. The S55 has an option for summertime, which I have checked.

What happens is that when I enter an appointment in my phone at say 11.00 hours, the appointment appears in iCal at 10.00 hours. And when I enter something in iCal, the time in the phone is one hour later on the phone.

So I was testing to find out what happened, and then I noticed that this doesn't happen after next weekend, when wintertime starts again. Then suddenly it syncs allright. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong here?

Daylight savings (Sommerzeit) setting in the phone?
originally posted by Spheric Harlot:
When I first synced calendars, I didn't have daylight savings time switched on on the mobile, so for some reason, all entries are set an hour early even though I've now changed the clock setting.

Weird and annoying, and I'm still working on it...edit: just for the record, in case somebody does a search:
I switched calendar syncing off in iSync, did a sync, and then switched it back on. Next sync, it showed a bunch of conflicts, and I had iSync use the data from the computer. All is well now.
