Needing an extension cable for an ApplePro keyboard. Just want to make it longer but do not know what one I need. Want it to connect to the cable from the keyboard to make it longer and then connect to the Mac. The AppleStore has 6 to 6 pin or 4 to 6 pin? Or is this not what I need?

Uhm, you would need a USB extension cable.

4 pin or 6 pin would be for FireWire, not USB.

Any old USB extension will work fine for the keyboard.

My Apple Pro keyboard came with a little USB extension cable. Has been very useful!
