I've tried charging it, but to no avail. does anybody know if i can send it to apple for repair or replacement. it was purchased within a year ago during the buy an ibook and ipod college student promotion. i've hardly used it, there is no extended warranty. am i out of luck or is apple a nice company that will help me out.
thankyou for any information

We have 3 minis here, and my daughter's seems to far more finicky than the other 2. Hers has needed resetting a number of times, and now has developed a "deep sleep" mode which requires extra steps, too.

Question -- and no, I haven't checked with Apple yet -- does this sound like something for which Apple woud just replace the unit? It's not even 6 months old yet.
