I'm used to sorting my music by date added in itunes. Now that I have an ipod, i'm finding it difficult to find songs that I've added the night before. Is there any way to sort tunes by date added in the ipod?

Create a Smart Playlist. Use some dummy criteria for the first criteria line (e.g. "Artist" is not "JJJJJJJJ"). For 'Selected by" choose "Most Recently Added". This should create a playlist with your entire library, sorted by Date Added. You can either have that simply be one of the playlists that syncs to your iPod OR you can have iTunes sync only that playlist.

** Note: I can only assume this will work when transferred to the iPod ... I don't have one in front of me.

as others have said: smart playlist. you do not need to specify any criteria.

limit number of songs to like 50, selected by "most recently added" and turn on "live updating."
