This one looks pretty sweet. Its a very portable, 2 button mouse with scroll that supports the HID profile.

The mouse features 800 dpi resolution, a power On/Off switch to avoid battery drainage during travel, and a USB charger cable so you can recharge your mouse via a USB port on your computer while working.

Sounds pretty sweet. I think I might pick one up.

Not wild about its look, but the ability to recharge it using a USB cable is brilliant.

I have a Logitech BT mouse, and while I do love it around the house, it lacks an 'off' switch. Annoying as sin for an $80 mouse. The one reason I do like it because its a big mouse with lots of buttons. The only way I'd trade it in is if I could find a nicely sized one that fits my big hands. Too many 'travel' mice are just way too small. I mean, some are so small I don't see how anyone can use them.

Point being: Will someone eventually review this puppy or post photos and show me how big it is?

I've wanted a mouse like that ever since I've had wireless mice - no more lost mouse-time!

Death to recharging cradles!

This mouse would be perfect if it had 5 buttons.

it is pretty ugly...surprising considering iogear's usual designs...
nice features (but it's not gonna make me give up my kensington bt mouse).

someone review it!

The closest yet to what I want!

Rechargeable--but NO DONGLE OR CRADLE to carry. At most, a charging cable--or just buy batteries if you run out unexpectedly.

Bluetooth--again, NO DONGLE

TRAVEL-SIZE--hooray!

Two button plus scroll--good, but more buttons wouldn't bother me any

Style... well, yuck, I wish it was plain silver or white. But if reviews are good I might buy one anyway.

I wish Kensington and Logitech would come out with mice just like this.

check out the bluetooth pilot mouse from kensington.
powers itself off when you break the connection (ie sleep, etc).
looks great, feels great, tracks great.

only thing...i get "low battery" warnings periodically. now i just wait for the scroll wheel lite to flash.

bt mousing is fun. no cables is the best!

I've been waiting for a mouse like this one for awhile. My main concern with using a wireless mouse with my portable was the fear of having battery failure at inopportune times (I do a lot of presentation that require a reliable mouse). The USB charging cable is really brilliant.

I've been using the PocketMouse Pro for years because no one had solved the issue of batter power for me. Until now. If I see it out anywhere, even tho' I don't find it to be attractive, I'll porbably pick one up simply b/c of the innovative use of USB.

i keep 2 aa's in my backpack. u can also put in new batteries before a presentation.

either way, bluetooth mousing is great; not having a dongle on a powerbook rules...

This mouse is about as close as you can get to an Apple BT mouse but with the scroll wheel and two buttons. I might order the silver one to match my PowerBook but I rarely use my computer on a desk.

MacMice BT
If you have an Apple bluetooth keyboard I highly recommend that you do not buy the MacMIce mouse. There is a known interference when using the Apple keyboard.

This Iogear mouse sounds great. The only thing, is it seems *too* small and narrow. The LxW is 3.25"x1.5". I'm looking more for a medium size portable mouse, as it would be easier on the hands. I wonder if there are drivers to program the buttons.

Anyone try the Logitech V500 yet? Although its not BT, the USB receiver is very small, and it looks to be a very good mouse although it lacks rechargeability. The LxW is 3.75"x2.25".

waiting for some reviews...

Anyone try the Anycom BTM-100 or know more about it?

Looks to have similar specs as the Iogear BT... rechargeable BT mouse via USB.

All BT mice are overpriced, IMHO... was hoping they would have come down by now. That Logitech keyboard/mouse combo is very nice, but not worth the $200 they're asking for it.

I know, I'm amazed BT mice haven't really taken off! In both variety and price. Why not?

Even if you say that in the whole world only PowerBook owners would buy them, and only SOME of those... well, that's enough to sell tons of different PowerMac-specific carry cases... so why not tons of mice? (Which could also be sold to users with iBooks, desktop Macs, BT PCs, ANY computer with a BT dongle....)

The problem is that the technology hasn't become ubiquitous. It only recently appeared on PowerBooks as a built-in option and it's barely making a dent in PC sales. Only when PC manufacturers start including it will we see large numbers/variety of BT mice.

I know it's not ubiquitous, but it has been on a lot of heavy-selling PB's for quite a while... and there are LOTS of PB-only accessories like carry cases (many of which, unlike mice, only sell to users of one certain PB size).

A BT mouse would surely sell more than that just because SOME non-PB machines can use them--or any machine with an added dongle. Plus people with a carry case don't look for more cases as much as people with a corded/dongle mouse would look for a cordless mouse.

(I like when the dongle's sold separately to keep the mouse alone cheaper though.)

I suggested a USB recharging mouse to frogpad about 7 months ago.

If only I hadn't quit my EE schooling to join the circus.

I like the anycom mouse cept for the proprietary recharge cable.
