Hi people-

My work is selling off a bunch of it's old CRT monitors.

I have been offered a Mitsubishi DiamondPlus 200 20"(viewable) and a LaCie Electron22blue IV 20"(viewable).

Both are about five years old, and have had heavy use.

That said, they seem to be working perfectly.... Colours look great, no wear and tear.... super bright...

I already have a Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 220 on one of my machines at home, and would like to get another, as well as a second monitor for my machine at my studio.

I have been offered both monitors for £120.

I have no plans to go to TFT for a while... too costly at the moment.

Is this a good deal? And, would I be better off trying to haggle with my boss and get a pair of the Lacies so they would both be the same age / model...?

I think Mitsubishi make the better monitors, but perhaps having two identical monitors on the same setup would be an advantage.... (I do graphics for print and web)

Sorry to go on- Any opinions would be much welcomed...
