Has anyone own, or had any experience with Verizon Broadband Wireless, now available in many cities in the USA. I am moving to Vegas for at least a few months and am considering puchasing this card and using their service. The card is the PC 5220.

However when I contacted Verizon for more details they wrote back saying that this card is not supported for Mac, which seems strange as I am sure I saw something on a forum somewhere about a download that makes it compatible. I obviously do not want to buy this card and sign up for a year contract only to find out it is not good for me on the Mac.


If anyone can help me, please let me know.

The networking forum is there for a reason, and there's a reason the peripherals forum EXPLICITLY excludes networking and wireless networking.
