trouble with Apple Pro Mouse

	hello everyone. I have a Power Mac G4, dual 867, running 10.2.8, and recently my Apple Pro Mouse has been giving me some trouble. I'll drag the mouse across the screen and it'll freeze on me and then suddenly appear where I dragged it. This doesn't happen all the time and sometimes I can go a good hour or so before it starts happening. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
