My sis wants to burn a disk of all of her files on an old mac laptop, thus she bought a Que CD-RW 2i burner. The laptop is running a 9x system, and the burning software that came with it is called "Fire Dragon Burn" or something similar. I installed the software on both macs running 9.x, but once I installed a blank cd inthe Que drive it didn't appear on the desktop. Also, I got a dialogue box saying "There is no destination CD image file specified. Please select a destination cd image file". This after we dragged the files we wanted burned into the dragon software.

We loaded the dragon software onto the one mac running osx and it loaded as it should and we were able to burn a test disk.

Any ideas? Wondering if I should just find toast and see if it will recognize the Que drive.

Thanks

I am having the exact same problem with someone using Mac OS 9.1 and Dragon Burn, but with a Mercury Pro drive, connected either by USB or Firewire. Using an iBook 500.

It's not showing up as attached to the computer, not in Apple System Profiler or inside Dragon Burn.

I have not found any fixes... I would *really* appreciate any help you could give!
