[Paco Loco]

I was looking at getting a IR remote for my iPod when I stumbled upon the RemoteRemote from Engineered Audio. It's a RF based remote and on paper it looks amazing.
The problem is it seems that it was announced over a year ago and still doesn't seem to actually be available yet...
Anyone got one / used one? If so do you know where they are available from?

I've got the Remote Remote 2 and I can honestly say that it's awesome. When my iPod is connected to my HiFi, I can control the volume and skip songs from the other room, without being in line of sight (you can do this with neither the Apple wired remote nor the NaviPod IR remote). When I'm out and about, I can control it while it's safe in my bag (you can do this with the Apple remote, but not the NaviPod). And of course I can control the iPod from my sofa (you can do this with the NaviPod, but not the Apple wired remote). All in all a wonderful device. This functionality should absolutely be built in to the iPod. The Apple Remote and the NaviPod are both nice, but the RR2 is far better.

One recommendation: Get the white keyfob. The black one is boring.

Oh, and it's most definitely shipping. Took mine ten days to get to Hong Kong. You should expect about 3 days in the States.
