Rio Chroma ...

Is this the long-awaited Rio Chroma? It’s just a rendering, but this is the first (or maybe technically the second) semi-convincing image we’ve seen of what is going to be Rio’s new competitor for the iPod photo. The fact that it’s surfaced on some anonymous retail site isn’t exactly reassuring, but the price ($329.99) and specs more or less jibe with everything we’ve heard before: 20GB hard drive, 16-bit color LCD screen, an SD memory card slot for copying photos over from the a digital camera, and support for MP3, WMA, FLAC, Audible, Ogg Vorbis, and WAV audio files. Still no word on when this’ll hit, but can we just mention how much it looks like the Rio Carbon?
also rumors of it being wireless ... hmm

Shame is is really ugly and probably just as buggy and crashy as their other products.

That really is hideous.
And Rio's interface design is pretty legendary too, by now.
We all should have learned from Windows that a feature set alone doesn't make a useful solution.

My friend vomited on the floor and it looked better than that RIO POS. Try again.

Was the vomit brushed aluminum or white plastic? Also, did the vomit have WiFi? Details, man, we need details!
