Usually it works fine.. sometime's however it just doesn't respond. And the red light inside the mouse will not come on, unless I power off the mouse and re-power it up. And even then it's not found by the computer.

I have all the latest firmware, and Bluetooth updates... I have new batteries as well.

Any ideas?

Maybe the batteries aren't being held snugly by their holders. Try cleaning off any oxidation on the contacts and then bend the clips to hold the batteries tighter.
