Does anybody know what that white thing between the arrow keys and the delete, end and page down keys on the Wireless keyboard? It seems kinda strange...

If I understand what you're talking about, it's just a decorative slab of plastic.

Holding it down while typing makes your computer 10x faster.

dammit, mine's stuck in the 'up' position.
As subego said, it's mainly decorative. It helps to distinguish the three areas of the keyboard (main, arrow & navigation, keypad), plus if you use your middle finger for the 'up arrow' key your index and ring finger naturally fall to the sides, so the plastic gives them a place to rest instead of 'falling down' to the bottom of the keyboard.

If Microsoft had designed this keyboard, they probably would've filled this space with 5 useless keys....
