im interested in getting one either 128 or 256 mb. How many 1 page documents (basic blk print and size 12 font) will the 128 hold compared to the 256?

Also what do you reconmend that comes with good software and/or looks good when plugged into a pbook

they are so cheap just get the 256 and be happy with it. Once you use the flash drives for small things, you will find the need to use them for larger items.

the sandisk drives are nice, and the lexmark are ok too.

It'll hold twice as many.

They don't come with software, they just plug in and work. My school gave me a Sandisk Cruzer Micro for free and it's kind of a translucent silver color. The Sandisk Cruzer Titanium is a lot more expensive but it's supposed to be very durable. I think the Micro is just fine and it's much cheaper.

I got a 512MB one and I don't regret it - works with any Mac or PC.

I got this brand and style ( http://www.shikatronics.com/flash/pr...nhattan_en.asp ), but I'm not sure if I like the cap, you have to remove a leather band to take it off.

I bought the SanDisk Cruzer Micro (pictured above) in the 512MB size. Its very tiny and was only $64 at Circuit City. Way smaller than the 256MB Lexar Jumpdrive I was using.

Holds nearly as much as a CDR and reads/writes very fast (USB 2.0). And it has a bright blue LED that lights up the keyring loop when plugged in (and flashes when accessed).
