Where do all the returned ipod minis go?

Just about every product that Apple puts out shows up, sooner or later, on their website's refurb store. G5 iMacs are even starting to become a regularity. I've seen Gen3 iPods from time to time, but I've not once seen a mini in the refurb store. I wonder why not? Where do all the returns go? Just musing...

Apple could be waiting on the revision. That way when the orders for the new model pile up they can post the mini with the refurbs. Their thinking is people are not going to wait for 3-5 months and will pay for one of the refurbs instead. Just a guess of course.
