Does anyone have experience using any wireless keyboard and optical mouse?
Currently I am looking at the Microsoft wireless optical mouse (I like the tilt wheel!)
Also on Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite
Is there any good comparable (price and functionality) products from Logitech and others?
Does the Microsoft keyboard have power on key to turn on my PowerMac?

What the hell? $180 for a keyboard and mouse set? Skip 'em. You can get a very high quality wireless keyboard and mouse set for $50-$75. First of all, do not purchase it straight from the manufacturer. Go to a reseller like NewEgg.com and look for deals there.
In my experience, Microsoft's driver software is better than Logitech's and it allows things like application-specific button mappings. However, Logitech's hardware is of slightly higher quality. Logitech also puts both Mac and Windows symbols on their keyboards, so you don't have to know the keys only by their position.
You can't start your PowerMac using any available keyboard. Well, maybe if you have an older PowerMac (like a Sawtooth) and you connect an old Apple USB Keyboard, you could. Other than that, you can't.
This is a good choice. So is this.

$180 is in Australian dollar!
Also, NewEgg.com does not ship outside of US!!

Yeah, but then it lost the main reason why I want to get a new keyboard

Oops, sorry! I really should have double checked your location first... then I wouldn't have linked to NewEgg or anything.
Anyway, AUS$180 is about US$130... that is quite expensive for that set, but maybe it's the best you can do in Australia.
Apple removed the circuitry necessary to start up a Mac using a power button on the keyboard years ago. I think if you have a Sawtooth PowerMac, then a keyboard's power key might work IF it's designed to start up a Mac. However, if you're talking about any newer machine, then you're out of luck and no keyboard can start up your computer. Right now the only keyboards I know of with a built-in power button are the Matias TactilePro and the Apple USB Keyboard, both of which are corded. There's also a little USB attachment for the Pro keyboard that provides the same function, but again it only works with older Macs. There are no wireless keyboards that allow you to power up your Mac.

I have the MS Wireless Optical Desktop Elite for my home PC. It's a really nice set, the mouse that's included alone is pretty expensive, and the keyboard is great too. FYI, I paid about $79 US for it. I definitely recommend it.
