Hey All

I was wondering if I took an iPod to Apple Store will fix a HP/Mac/PC 4G 40gb iPod???

Thinking about getting one but wonder if I should get it at a local store or drive to the Apple Store...

Where do the instructions say to take it for service? I'm assuming they make HP responsible for all service. Maybe some dealer of the HP iPod has an open one and can show you the warranty card.

I was going to buy it at Fry's... There kind of A$$Holes about getting any info, but are 5 blocks away. Went back this morning, they didn't have an open one and Won't Open one up for me to find out... But at least there Service Dept. has always done right by me. I asked them also but they didn't have any info, other than they just ship a Bad one Back to HP...

I wonder if the Apple Store carries iPods for Windows??? There Website doesn't say anything about it other than it will work with Windows... Guess I've got to make a trip there...

There is no longer any difference between a pc and mac ipod. You can go to any Apple Store, buy any iPod, and it will work with either a PC or Mac. The old 2G iPods use to be either Mac or PC though.
