I have a 3G ipod and all of a sudden I can't update the songs on my ipod. When I connect ipod to my computer I either get 2 things, one saying that my mac can't recognize my ipod or my ipod screen flashes don't disconnect. When it say don't disconnect, it does nothing I left it overnight with the flashing do not disconnet and woke up to find it still flashing do not disconnect. I have tried to erase and restore factory settings, but everytime I try to do it, it gets half way done and the progam crashes. So now I can't use my ipod at all. So what can I do to fix this problem? I have a DP867 with 10.3.7.

Thanks,
Duo
