According to that thread(if I understood correctly) it said that I cannot get songs from libraries on multiple computers, but I already have done this. Today while I was at my friends house he had some songs on his own computer, an old ibook, and some on his old powermac. We got songs from both of those successfully. I have also done this in my own home with my 2nd gen 10gb ipod, getting songs from my iMac G4 and my PowerMac G4. Is this bad to do this and do I risk deleting my entire library? Because I have around 1000 mp3s between 3 computers(PowerBook, PowerMac, iMac)

Then you must not be using iTunes to do the transfer.

Do you own an iPod, CO? What generation?

Because I do this regularly with no problems whatsoever on my 1st-gen 5GB.

The only limitation is that you have to transfer by hand (within iTunes, though), not auto-sync.

I have a 2nd Gen iPod and never use autosync, cause autosync blows in my opinion.
